Ignite Amps - NadIR - Impulse Response Loader

Hey guys! Sharing here my favorite impulse response loader! A good IR loader is a "must-have" plugin in your digital signal chain for guitars; in other words, without it loaded with a good IR, your guitar tone will be total crap!

NadIR is a great IR loader that you can use for free! I've been using it for several years, and it has worked perfectly for all my metal production needs so far.

It's very versatile, with many options like HP and LP filters, delay and pan controls, and you also have the option of blending the sounds of two Impulse Responses. The visuals are very inspiring in your pursuit of the perfect metal guitar tone! Really worth giving it a try!

Fourteen MH1 Reissue by VTarAmps - BRUTAL METAL TONE!

Check VTar Amps blog original post here:
https://vtaramps.wordpress.com/fourteen-mh1-reissue/

Fourteen-MH1a tight, aggressive-sounding amp. My first attempt at replicating Natas' tone, but mistakenly taken for Meathead.

The reissue features:

– SSE stereo mode to process double-tracked guitar tracks more conveniently;

– HQ/LQ mode to switch between oversampled and non-oversampled modes;

– The old tonestack was replaced by the newer model as the older one couldn’t be ported to handle the new features and sampling rates.

– more frames for the knob animations, allowing for tweaking smoothly;

– smooth start for the plug-in start and switch presets, smoother, and causes fewer pops.

It features usual amp controls that allow you to get some nice tones quickly enough.

Combine this BEAST with a good tube screamer before the power amp (check TS999 by Ignite Amps), and a good guitar impulse response (check Excalibur IR), loaded in a good impulse response loader (check NADIR by Ignite Amps) to get the metal guitar tone of your dreams! Enjoy!

Symphonic Heaven's Choir - Free Choir VSTi for Power Metal Production - by Fábio Simão

Alright guys! This is my FREE Choir VSTI!

I always wanted a free full choir with nice quality to use in my metal productions, and after crawling the internet for hours trying to find it, I found the NST Choir by BigCat Instruments
I was happy and excited to use it, but a few things came in my way when trying to use it: 1) The sound had some kind of distortion. I'm not sure if it was something with my DAW or my sound board, but it was strange. 2) The samples were not looped, so when holding a chord for a while, the samples of each note reach the end, and the sound stops.

But then, some time later (maybe as a blessing from heaven itself?), I discovered the Maize Sampler Free software, and an exciting idea came to mind: what if I could create an improved version of NST Choir with a cool graphic interface?

Well, as they say, "if you want it, you got it"! After many hours of work and play tests, I'm proud to present to you all my humble Symphonic Heaven's Choir!

This is a sound library designed for use with Maize Sampler Player Free.

For this library, I tried to improve the quality of the samples of NST Choir and make it looped, allowing the option to hold a chord or note forever (infinite sustain)! Adding the built-in Reverb, you can get nice atmospheric choirs! The dynamics work better for a soft legato for all notes, but you can edit your MIDI velocity and note durations to reach more powerful notes.

This library includes 2 groups of full choirs (men and women) with the sounds of "Eeh" and "Aah"
And yeah, I intend to do other versions of this plugin with other vowels!

The graphic interface and plugin name seek to bring the vibe of classical choir music and the artistic style of the Renaissance. Enjoy!

Below, you can check quick test videos with both sound groups:

STEP 1: Download the Maize Sample Player from the link below.
STEP 2: Extract the content from the .rar file to a folder and drop it inside your VSTs system folder.
STEP 3: Open your DAW and scan for new VSTs.
STEP 4: Download the Symphonic Heavens Choir.mse
STEP 5: Drop the Symphonic Heavens Choir.mse file in a folder next to the Maize Sampler Player folder. When running Maize Sampler Player for the first time in your DAW, you will be asked to address the folder containing the libraries.
