Hey guys! Sharing here my favorite impulse response loader! A good IR loader is a "must-have" plugin in your digital signal chain for guitars; in other words, without it loaded with a good IR, your guitar tone will be total crap!

NadIR is a great IR loader that you can use for free! I've been using it for several years, and it has worked perfectly for all my metal production needs so far.

It's very versatile, with many options like HP and LP filters, delay and pan controls, and you also have the option of blending the sounds of two Impulse Responses. The visuals are very inspiring in your pursuit of the perfect metal guitar tone! Really worth giving it a try!

Temple Of Metal Drums - Free Drums VSTi for Power Metal production - by Fábio Simão

Hey guys! This is my FREE fan-made Drums VSTI, based on the powerful sound of  Power Metal Drums!

When creating this plugin, I selected some of the best drum samples I could find on the internet (the sources are many, but most from the Amner Hunter free drum sample pack and The Metal Kickdrum free samples), tuned and edited the parameters to get a huge power metal drum sound, inspired by bands like Angra, Shaman and Stratovarius, and legendary drummers like Aquiles Priester, Ricardo Confessori and Jörg Michael. This is a sound library designed for use with Maize Sampler Player Free. 

For this library, I tried to improve a little bit on the previous Rebirth Of Metal Drums, fine-tuning the drum parts, gain, and drive, to reach a brighter sound. The difference is very subtle, but it can help shape the drum sound of your mix!

This library includes many options of kicks and snares (including a special fx snare with a massive reverb!), 2 hi-hats (open and closed), 4 toms, and a few more options of cymbals (splash, ride, china)

The output is limited to a single track in your DAW, but with a little extra work, you can always create multiple instances of the instrument and route each drum piece to a separate track, or you can also explore the MIDI routing options in your DAW

The graphic interface and plugin name are an homage to the Temple Of Shadows album by Angra! Enjoy!

STEP 1: Download the Maize Sample Player from the link below.

STEP 2: Extract the content from the .rar file to a folder and drop it inside your VSTs system folder.

STEP 3: Open your DAW and scan for new VSTs.

STEP 4: Download the Temple Of Metal Drums.mse 

STEP 5: Drop the Temple Of Metal Drums.mse file in a folder next to the Maize Sampler Player folder. When running Maize Sampler Player for the first time in your DAW, you will be asked to address the folder containing the libraries.

NOTE: This library is not configured with the standard MIDI mapping like EZ Drummer or others, so you will need to edit your MIDI files or write your own MIDI drum tracks!
